Omagh Bell

Omagh Park is approximately 3-acres in size, located at 9830 Britannia Road West. This existing park (c. 1955) provides outdoor recreational space in the Trafalgar Neighbourhood. This park is undergoing re-design in 2020. The redevelopment work is planned for 2021 (pending budget approval), with the park re-opening the following spring.

The park design includes ball field (mosquito) redevelopment, a children's playground area, parking lot, open lawn area, asphalt paths, site furnishings, tree preservation and planting and grading and drainage improvements. The existing 'Omagh School Bell' and interpretive sign will be retained within the park.

The project team has consulted with the community on park design options and has developed the Final Concept, to guide detailed design. Click to view the Final Concept (on the right).

The Final Concept in alternate format is available upon request.
