Consultation has concluded
Kingsleigh Park (c. 1954) is approximately 2-acres in size and is located at 265 Kingsleigh Court. This existing park provides outdoor recreational space in the Mountain View Neighbourhood. This park is undergoing re-design in 2020. The re-construction work is planned for 2021 (pending budget approval), with the park re-opening in the following year.
The park design includes grading and drainage improvements, a children's play area, open lawn area, asphalt paths, site furnishings and tree preservation and planting. The existing commemorative plaque and stone and interpretive sign will be retained.
The project team has consulted with the community on park design options and has developed the Final Concept, to guide detailed design. Click to view the Final Concept (on the right).
