The Storm Sewer Network Study will allow Town staff to plan upgrades and enhancements to existing neighbourhood drainage systems, and provide policy direction for managing runoff for new development.
The Town of Milton is completing Phase 1 of the Storm Sewer Network Study to help guide capital works, policy, guidelines and associated strategies for the management of stormwater.
Phase 1 focuses on Milton’s historic urban centre, bounded by Steeles Avenue N, Derry Road S, Thompson Road E and Bronte Street W.
The objective of Phase 1 is to:
Identify and fill any gaps in Milton’s database and complete a field assessment of the storm infrastructure in the area.
Assess the physical condition of the area and address any maintenance requirements.
Conduct public consultation.
