Notice of Online Public Engagement #1
The Town of Milton is carrying out a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (MCEA) study for Sixth Line from Britannia Road to Highway 401. The MCEA builds on the Town’s Transportation Master Plan Update (2024), which identified the need for improvements to the transportation network in northeast Milton.
The study is following Schedule ‘C’ of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (October 2000, as amended in 2024), an approved process under the Ontario Environmental Assessment Act.
A key component of the study is consultation with interested parties (public and review agencies). The purpose of this online engagement is to review and obtain public input on the study area’s needs and opportunities, existing conditions, selection of the preferred solution, and next steps in the study.
