The Town of Milton is seeking public input on an updated Noise By-law.
Milton’s Noise By-law regulates or prohibits noise and activities that may interfere with residents’ enjoyment of their properties.
Public input is important so that the by-law reflects community expectations, effectively addresses noise-related concerns, and remains fair, reasonable, and enforceable.
The Noise By-law survey below explores questions such as:
How would you rate the overall noise levels in your neighbourhood?
What is the source of noise disturbances in your neighbourhood?
What days and times are noise issues most disruptive to you?
We appreciate all those who are willing to share their feedback.
The results of the survey will be used to inform an updated by-law for Council’s consideration. If approved, the updated by-law would be enacted; implementation timelines are still to be determined.
The survey closes Nov. 13, 2026.
