Second Addendum Report to Development Charges Background Study Posted

Please note that a second addendum has been issued to the Development Charges Background Study released December 19, 2025.

Based on feedback received through ongoing stakeholder engagement and further internal review, Addendum #2 updates the Background Study to include a new road construction project for the reconstruction and urbanization of 8th Line from Derry Road to Britannia Road, including associated land requirements. Revisions have also been made to the wording of the local service policy related to roads.

The addendum outlines the tables and figures in the Background Study affected by these changes and reflects the incorporation of technical and service level updates previously identified in Addendum #1, released on March 13, 2026.

The Town will continue to receive feedback as part of the Development Charge and Community Benefit Charge By-law processes.

Feedback received by April 15, 2026, will be incorporated into the staff report that will be presented to Town Council for consideration.
